Welcome…

An exoneree seeing the world through a camera’s eye
In 1991 I was arrested for a murder I did not commit. In 1993 I was found guilty and sentenced to the rest of my natural life in prison. In 2010 I was unanimously ruled “Innocent” by three judges empaneled through the North Carolina Innocence Inquiry Commission process. This was the first ruling of its kind in U.S. History.
Now I tell my story with the goal of reforming the System in order to increase the reliability of convictions and to decrease the amount of time it takes to obtain the freedom of those convicted who are innocent.
I am on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Center on Actual Innocence. For more information about their work and my case, visit https://www.nccai.org/greg-taylor/
